The Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) was created to provide the public access to the official record of adverse vaccine reactions to help them determine whether the benefits of each particular vaccine outweigh any potential risks. The database was not intended to replace scientific studies which are normally completed before a medication is approved for use in the general public. Unfortunately for pregnant women and their unborn children, vaccines are typically not tested within this class of individuals, in part due to concerns regarding potential harm that an untested drug could cause to a fetus. Despite the lack of scientific data and clear safety disclosures within the package inserts of many vaccines, the CDC recommends the annual flu vaccine for all pregnant women. During the 2009-2010 flu season, two versions of the flu vaccine were recommended: the seasonal flu shot and the H1N1 vaccination. As a likely result of this double dose, VAERS reports reveal a jump in fetal deaths greater than 4000 percent when compared to earlier years. The CDC has conveniently ignored this data, despite evidence which indicates they have been aware of the facts for multiple years.
Manufacturers Stated the Unknown Safety Status of H1N1 Vaccine for Pregnant Women
A 2012 study published in the Human and Environmental Toxicology Journal reveals that manufacturers of the H1N1 vaccine were aware of the potential harm their product posed to unborn human children. Within the package insert is a clause that states:
“It is also not known whether these vaccines can cause fetal harm when administered to pregnant women or can affect reproduction capacity.’’
Testing performed on pregnant rabbits also indicated that the mercury containing preservative known as thimerosal (which was present in the H1N1 vaccine) caused a distinct spike in the level of mercury found in the brains, livers and kidneys of the unborn rabbit fetuses. Mercury exposure has been linked to a variety of harmful effects, including but not limited to neurological disorders and death.
Women Never Warned of the Untested Status of H1N1
Due to the relatively low rate of miscarriages following the seasonal flu vaccine as reported to VAERS in years prior to 2009-2010, the CDC erroneously determined that the risk of adding a second flu shot for the 2009-2010 season would pose minimal risk to pregnant mothers and their fetuses (despite warnings stated within the package inserts of the H1N1 vaccine). Pregnant women were never warned about the unknown safety risks of doubling up on the dose of toxic substances found in vaccinations, even though many of these substances are the same as those stated on the CDC’s website as best avoided during pregnancy (the CDC states that formaldehyde, pesticides, and mercury pose a risk to the fetus during pregnancy, yet all of these toxins are found in most of the vaccinations which are simultaneously highly recommended to pregnant women).
CDC Was Aware of the Rise in Fetal Deaths
In the aftermath of the 4,250 percent jump in fetal deaths reported to VAERS during the 2009-2010 flu season, numerous articles, including one published in the Journal of Human & Experimental Toxicology, have supported the hypothesis that the double dose of toxic substances received by thousands of pregnant women during the 2009-2010 flu season was the likely cause for the sharp increase in miscarriages and stillbirths seen during that time period. Dr. Shimabakuru, a representative for the CDC, gave a presentation in Atlanta during the fall of 2010 showing the safety statistics of the flu vaccine based on VAERS data from years past. Although he initially failed to mention anything related to pregnant women, when sufficiently prompted, he was reported to have acknowledged the increase in fetal deaths during the previous flu season.
The CDC Conveniently Omits Data From the 2009-2010 Flu Season
The CDC’s current website mentions nothing of the 2009-2010 jump in fetal deaths as a likely result of two flu vaccinations. Interestingly, on a sub-page of their website titled “Flu Vaccine Safety and Pregnancy”, the organization mentions VAERS data for pregnant women which has been observed and analyzed through the 2008-2009 flu season, yet as of December, 2016, data within and beyond the 2009-2010 season are not included in the safety analysis. The CDC continues to emphasize the importance of the annual flu shot, despite data presented by the Vaccine Safety Datalink Workgroup and the CDC’s own National Immunization Program which indicates that vaccinated and unvaccinated pregnant women experience no statistically significant variation in the number of flu-like illnesses they experience during each particular flu season. This fact exposes the reality that millions of unborn babies continue to needlessly be exposed to harmful toxins contained in vaccines each year, without their mothers even reaping the supposed benefits the vaccination is intended to deliver.
A Multi-Billion Dollar Industry With Ties to Governmental Organizations
The world-wide market for vaccinations generates around $24 billion in annual profit for pharmaceutical giants. Considering their influence within Washington through well funded lobbyists and financial donations to the campaign funds of political figures, it is any wonder why organizations such as the CDC would omit important data that could reduce the number of women who choose to utilize products (such as vaccines) produced by the corporate pharmaceutical giants? The pharmaceutical companies themselves have even managed to obtain full immunity from lawsuits related to the adverse effects of vaccinations. Individuals who have been harmed from a vaccine must file a claim through the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program (VICP) which is funded by the public via a tax on each vaccination. If you or a loved one has been harmed by a vaccination, working with a qualified attorney is the best way to ensure you will receive the financial compensation you deserve.
